Glass Chips
If you work with organic solvents at high temperatures, glass is the material of choice. Alfa Chemistry provides standardized glass microfluidic chips in microscope slide format with through holes as fluid interfaces. They are made by wet etching (isotropic etching) to achieve a very smooth surface. In order to facilitate the handling of these glass fragments, corresponding accessories can be used. Straight channel chips, chamber chips, droplet generator chips, or meandering chips are available as off-the-shelf equipment. Customized designs can be realized as required.
