Droplet Generation Chips

The droplet microfluidic technology is a new generation of microfluidic technology that emerged at the beginning of this century. It uses the physical and chemical properties of multiphase microfluidics and the scale effect to generate multiphase micro functional units. As an ideal microreactor, droplet microfluidics has become one of the most active hotspots in current microfluidic research. Compared with the traditional single-phase microfluidic system, the droplet microfluidic system has the advantages of small reactor volume, small sample diffusion and pollution, high reaction efficiency, and high analysis and screening throughput.

Alfa Chemistry's outstanding microfluidic experts have designed a variety of droplet generation chips. When designing the channel geometry, we will consider the contact between the reagents involved in the droplet generation process. Area and contact time are used to design different chips. You can choose your own microfluidic chip according to your needs. Of course, we can also customize your own droplet generation chip.

About Alfa Chemistry's Droplet Generation Chips

Droplet Collection Chip

We provide two different types of droplet collection chips, vertical droplet collection chips and side droplet collection chips, to meet your different needs. Both chips are standard microfluidic chips, that is, the standard chip size is 25*76 mm, and the distance between the microchannels is 4.5 mm or 9 mm. You can choose the suitable chip accordingly.

The vertical droplet collection microfluidic chip allows the immiscible two-phase fluid to form droplets at the vertical interface of the microchannel. The side drops microfluidic chip makes the immiscible two-phase fluid form droplets at the side interface of the microchannel.

Droplet PMMA Chip

PMMA is the most ideal material for preparing microfluidic chips with biocompatibility. Our droplet PMMA chips have standard specifications: the tube width is 200 μm, and the tube depth is 200 μm. The chip contains accessories. We can also design different droplet generation PMMA chips according to your needs.

Droplet PDMS Chip

PDMS is the polymer most commonly used to mold microfluidic chips. Our independently developed droplet PDMS chip has a tube width of 200 μm and a tube depth of 200 μm. The chip has no accessories. A syringe or pipette can be used to inject the liquid. We can also design different droplet generation PDMS chips according to your needs.
