Our Microfluidic Chips

The microfluidic chip can integrate the basic operating units of sample preparation, reaction, separation, and detection in the biological, chemical, and medical analysis process into the micron-level chip to automatically complete the entire analysis process. At the same time, it also has the advantages of light volume, low energy consumption, fast response speed, a large number of parallel processing, and one-time use.

Our Microfluidic Chips

Alfa Chemistry is an expert in the field of microfluidics, with decades of microfluidic chip development technology, and has produced hundreds of microfluidic chips for you to choose from. We can redesign and customize our microfluidic chip according to your needs. We manufacture microfluidic chips on silicon, metal, polymer, glass, and other material substrates through micromachining processes to process fluid channels, reaction or detection chambers, filters, or sensors from micrometers to sub-millimeters.

If you need any microfluidic chips, Alfa Chemistry will be a good partner for your scientific research.

Types of Microfluidic Chips

According to different functions, we roughly divide them into standard microfluidic chips and microfluidic custom chips.

Standard Chips

In the standard chip, we divide it into PDMS chip, Y-type chip and channel chip according to the material of the chip, channel shape and the number of channels to be classified.

The most commonly used polymer for molding microfluidic chips is PDMS, which is a transparent, biocompatible, deformable and inexpensive elastomer that is easy to mold and bond to glass. Alfa Chemistry provides you with three different types of PDMS chips. Click to learn more.

The Y-type chip is a microfluidic chip customized by our microfluidic experts, which can meet different uses and experimental needs. Alfa Chemistry provides you with three different types of Y chips. Click to learn more.

The structure of the channel chip is simple, and there are different numbers of microchannels. These chips can be connected to accessories, such as catheter connectors. The user only needs to insert it when using it. Syringes or pipettes can be used to inject fluids and realize the use of chips. The chip is widely used in biomedicine, cell biology research, protein crystallization and other fields. Click to learn more.

Custom Chips

The custom chip is based on the conventional microfluidic chip and is independently developed by the outstanding microfluidic experts of Alfa Chemistry. You can directly choose the custom chip we developed, or we can customize the chip for you according to your needs, including chip material, specifications, etc.

Our custom chips include but are not limited to the following:

Design Standards

  • Minimum channel width: 5 μm
  • Minimum channel height: 10 μm
  • The smallest identifiable feature size: 2 μm
  • The depth of all functions must be the same
  • The minimum distance between adjacent channels: 20 μm
  • Minimum cylinder diameter: 10 μm (if the mold is a pit, the PDMS aspect ratio cannot exceed 1:1)
