Standard Glass Chips
Glass is the material of choice when work with high temperatures or organic solvents. Alfa Chemistry provides standard glass microfluidic chips in microscope slide format with through holes as fluid interfaces. They are manufactured by a wet etching process and have a fairly smooth surface. In order to facilitate their use, straight channel chips, T channel chips, Y channel chips, cross channel chips or meander channel chips are available as off-the-shelf devices. If the standard chip size does not meet the requirements, customized designs can be realized on demand.
